Q: How long have you been in business?

A: Custom Car Care has been in business since 1988.

Q: What are your hours of operation?

A: We're open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Q: How do I get to your location?

A: From Interstate 64, take the J. Clyde Morris Blvd/Yorktown, exit #258B. Custom Car Care is 1.2 miles on the right-hand side, right across from Production Drive.

Q: Do you have a waiting area?

A: Yes we do, equipped with comfy chairs, TV, coffee, and free Wi-Fi.

Q: Do you really give away free T-shirts?

A: Yes we do! We have been for many years now! Click here for the coupon.

Q: Why don't you work on all makes?

A: We want to be the best at what we do, so in order to do that, we must focus on specific makes. Cars have become so complex, it is difficult to be the best on all makes.

Q: Do you use genuine parts?

A: Yes, of course we do! Custom Car Care uses genuine parts.

Q: What is your warranty?

A: We have a 2-year or 24,000 mile warranty, whichever comes first, on parts and labor.

Q: Can I bring my own parts?

A: Sorry, but for quality control and liability reasons, we don not install parts we don't supply.

Q: Do you keep parts in stock?

A: Yes, we do. Custom Car Care has a large number of genuine parts in stock.

Q: Do you take competitors' coupons?

A: Sorry, but no we don't.

Q: Do you do any painting or bodywork?

A: No

Q: Do you sell tires?

A: Absolutely! Custom Car Care sells tires from Michelin, Bridgestone, Toyo, Yokohama, and more.

Q: Do you give free estimates?

A: For some repair we can give free estimates, but if troubleshooting is needed, there is a fee.

Q: Do your diagnostic fees apply towards repairs?

A: With today's computer controlled cars, troubleshooting is sometimes the most difficult part of the repair, so there is a separate charge for the diagnosing.

Q: How long will it take to get my vehicle fixed?

A: We offer same day service. If parts have to be ordered, it may take longer.

Q: How does online scheduling work?

A: The dates available online are simply a request. If we can get you in on the day you request, we will certainly try. Otherwise, we will contact you.

Q:Can I have my car towed in after hours?

A: Yes, Custom Car Care of Yorktown, Virginia has a drop box for after hours convenience.

Q: How do I drop my car off after hours?

A: There is a key drop near our front door with envelopes. Simply park your car in any space available out front, fill out your information on the envelope, put your keys in the envelope, and drop it into the locked drop box.

Q: What does it mean when my "maintenance light" comes on?

A: Usually, there will be a service due. Please check the mileage on your odometer, and call us for an appointment.

Q: How much will it cost to fix my "Check Engine Light"?

A: The computer monitors many different systems in the car and when it sees a problem in one or more, it turns the light on so there are many possibilities as to what could be wrong. We would have to check it out first and determine what the problem is which involves some diagnostics. To check it, your starting out at about $85 plus the repair.

Q: How much horsepower will your Dynapack Chassis Dynomometer handle?

A: It can handle 800 Wheel Horsepower and 2400 lbs/ft torque.
